Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina (or Antonia) Shevchenko fights as an Kyrgyzstani Muay Thailand fighter in the flyweight division. She is older than her fellow UFC fighter and former UFC Flyweight Champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko began her fight sport career by becoming a Muay Thai kickboxer. She made her debut in the IFMA World Championship Tournament 2003 Shevchenko won the tournament and beat Suzane Miller in the finals by a the unanimous vote. Antonina continued her career by getting bronze and silver medals in 2007 and 2008 respectively, as well as a Gold medal in 2011, and the 2016 IFMA amateur Muay thai world champion. Antonia has started her professional journey in 2003, was crowned in 2012 and the 2016 International Lion Fight Lightweight championships. It was also the WMC World Championships were staged in 2016, and she took home the 2016 IFMA Muay Thailand World Champion. Antonina last fought against Isa Tsidblad Keskikangas at the Phoenix Fighting Championship. The winner was by a unanimous decision. Antonina Schevchenko started her professional MMA professional career back in the year 2002 after a win over Anara Baanova, during the KFK Championships of Kyrgystan. She was victorious by second round TKO and also won her subsequent 2-fights at WXF: X-Impact World Championships 2003, accumulating an overall record of 3-0. Shevchenko was a dedicated kickboxer as she took a prolonged time off in MMA. She was back in 2017 when she faced Anissa Hasdaoui. Shevchenko defeated Anissa by a unanimous vote as well as defeated Valerie Domergue at Phoenix FC 4. She left the promotion in the year 2018 and joined Dana White's Contender Series in 2018. Antonina recovered from her defeat and beat Lucie Pudilova on UFC on ESPN Covington vs. Lawler via second-round rear-naked choke, and was awarded the fight of the night reward in the fight. Shevchenko has a record of 1-2 during her subsequent three matches which included a win over Ariane Lipski while losing to Katlyn Clarkagian as well as Andrea Lee. Antonina has recently been knocked out by Casey O'Neill in UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
